Rachael’s Career

Rachael first got on a horse at the age of six in Coonabarabran, where her parents owned a couple of acres, and owned her first horse, Snuff, shortly after.  In her teens Rachael was also a keen swimmer and was the New South Wales State butterfly champion.  But as she says: “At the end of the day swimming didn’t stand a chance against horses!” Rachael has been competing in dressage professionally since the age of 19.

Rachael is one of Australia’s most accomplished and experienced competitors, having competed in the 1999 World Cup Final, Sydney 2000 Olympics, 2002 World Championships, 2006 World Championships, 2010 World Championships,  2012 World Cup Final

  1. Rachael was a childhood friend of mine in Coonabarabran,I can rememeber little fat Snuff and the adventures we had along the back gully and showgrounds as clearly as it happened yesterday :)..We also rode at Coonabarabran Pony Club throughout the years and I watched Racheal advance onto greater and bigger things, yes rach I have watched you go up the ranks and sat and applauded at your wins and triumphs… Now my daughter is doing the same ,not quite beleieving that I knew you from childhood friendship…WELL DONE RACHAEL 🙂 one day I hope to catch up or have the priviledge of Chloe doing a lesson with you …

  2. Have seen you ride in the games with your mare and now with your stallion! l always wish l could ride like you and have the chance to do what you have done! Good work, keep it up to!!!!
